Measles is a highly contagious disease. It can be serious for young children. Protect child by making sure he or she is up to date on vaccinations, including before traveling abroad.

Make sure your family is up to date with their tetanus vaccine so they are protected against this serious infection commonly known as “lockjaw.” The bacteria that cause tetanus can be found everywhere in the environment.

The Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program offers vaccines at no cost for eligible children through doctors enrolled in the program. Find out if your child qualifies. Vaccinating on time means healthier children, families and communities.

Most children with chickenpox completely recover. But it can be serious, even deadly, for babies, adolescents, adults, and people with weakened immune systems. Get vaccinated if you are not protected against chickenpox.
